Kyra curated the exhibition “What Photography Is,” on view at the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum, January 27-April 24, 2022

2020:

Kyra is showing two bodies of work in Traces of Being, a three-person group exhibition at Landing Contemporary Art

Kyra will be participating in a Yellow Rose Project, a collaborative project that will respond to the 100th year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, bridging female image-makers across the medium.

2019:

In her first solo museum exhibition, Earth, Matter, Paper, Kyra will be presenting camera-less photographs from ‘Transcriptions’.
Exhibition dates: November 12, 2019 - January 26, 2020

A limited edition, handmade monograph titled ‘Coastal Matter’ was published by Dust Collective in November 2019.

Kyra is showing work in SIZE MATTERS at Sparks Gallery during Medium Photo Festival.
Exhibition dates: October 19 - November 9, 2019

Kyra will be exhibiting lumen prints at Trois Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia as part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography.

Work from ‘Transcriptions’ shortlisted for a 2019 Lucie Foundation Photo-Made Grant

Kyra will be showing work in Unbound! 2019 at Candela Gallery in Richmond, Virginia. Exhibition dates: July 5-August 3.

Aletheia is a new artist book, in an edition of 10, with 2 unique books and 1 artist proof (total 11).

Kyra will be an artist in residence at Banff Centre in Banff, Canada as part of the Leighton Artist Studios, April 2019.

Work from ‘Transcriptions’ will be exhibited as part of Lucie Foundation’s Month of Photography: Los Angeles at Arena 1 Gallery at the Santa Monica Studios

Kyra is now an editorial assistant for Aint-Bad Magazine.

2018:

Received Honorable Mention at SIZE MATTERS group exhibition during the Medium Festival of Photography. Juror: Brian Clamp

Selected as a print artist for Aint-Bad Issue no. 13 by juror and artist Amy Elkins.

Shortlisted for the Lucie Foundation Emerging Artist Grant.
